It gives us great pleasure to announce that PMCare Sdn Bhd was recently awarded as the Best Corporate Health and Wellness Services Third Party Administrator of the Year 2020 by Global Health APAC Wellness Awards 2020!
PMCare has worked hard for the last 15 years to raise awareness about the dangers of untreated chronic diseases such as hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes, obesity and untreated depression amongst corporate employees at the workplace. It has meant a lot to us to have had that work recognised with the Global Health APAC Wellness Awards 2020.
Since the workplace was never designed to manage employees with chronic conditions on a continuous basis, these staff are left to manage their conditions with little guidance. By acknowledging this, PMCare has been challenging the status quo by making efforts to shift and lower the imbalance between clinical care and medical self-care through health promotion, disease prevention, and cost containment initiatives at work and at home.
